In the aftermath of the tragic Jattu market incident, where several traders were injured and killed by falling trees during a violent storm, Dr Asue Ighodalo, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, gubernatorial candidate for the upcoming Edo election, visited the scene today for an on-the-spot assessment.
Accompanied by Hon. Marvelous Muhizu Zibiri, the Executive Chairman of Etsako West Local Government Council, Dr. Ighodalo expressed deep sorrow over the losses and devastation experienced at the market.
During his visit to various hospitals to meet with the victims, Dr. Ighodalo offered his condolences to the families who lost loved ones. He pledged his unwavering commitment to covering the medical expenses for the victims still receiving care.
