Adamawa support groups have expressed confidence in the policies and programmes of President Bola Tinubu-led administration to deliver good governance to Nigerians.
Mr Bali Spol, Leader of the groups, stated this during the day two of nationwide protest in Adamawa on Friday.
He said that they were protesting on the need for people to understand the right steps taken by President Tinubu towards ensuring peace and development in the country.
According to him, the protest against the Federal Government is uncalled for as the government was already addressing the challenges in the country.
He said that to ensure the dividend of democracy reached the people at the grassroots, local governments’ autonomy was restored, the Agricultural programme, and students’ loans among many policies were introduced.
He said Adamawa is one of the states that witnessed peaceful protest in the country and urged youth and women to continue abiding by law and order.
“We have seen the developmental strides of President Bola Tinubu, Gov. Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa, and people of Adamawa who were law abiding and want development in peaceful ways.
“We are here to call on the government at all levels to address the issues of populaces; hunger and hardship.
“We know their policies and programmes are good that will take the country to the higher level, but they need to do more by having credible implementation committees,” he said.
He appealed to citizens to be patient and give President Bola Tinubu more time to see the difference.
