The visit of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governorship candidate in Edo State, Dr Asue Ighodalo, overseas in concerted efforts to meet with the diasporan party’s surrogates has largely been adjudged successful across Nigeria. This is not in mere rhetoric, but with conspicuous evidence and demonstrations of notable icons in the party.
Preparatory to Dr. Asue’s visit to the United States Of America, Edo North Senatorial Woman Leader and business woman extraordinary, Evangelist Mrs Oisamoje Isemeivbodan Maria, has taken the message in advance to the microcosm of the USA. In Washington DC, the PDP unrepentant member is expressing joy, satisfaction and utter fulfillment as Edo American residents get set to receive the “Man wey Sabbi” who is the candidate of pdp into New York City , Houston and others. The Candidate would also meet with several groups in the heart of the United States of America to intensify his actions plans and policy statement for good governance in Edo State.
She said,”My visit to Washington DC is to mobilise Edolites to come over to the designated locations to welcome and hear our candidate unveil his manifesto to Edo people. My natural likeness and enthusiasm for the enviable combination of Asue/Ogie is unwavering and I am confident that my party would win Edo in a Landslide.”
Reiterating her overwhelming endorsement for the Asue/Ogie Guber ticket in Edo State, the matriarch of the Oisamoje dynasty said, the duo of the party party’s flag bearers are the proper people who are competent and sufficiently equipped for the onerous task of governance confronting the occupants of the Dennis Osadebey avenue.
Evangelist Oisamoje noted that Dr. Ighodalo’s message to the party members is coherent and well understood, adding that the manifesto is self explanatory and all encompassing. She further implored Edo State indigenes globally, to come out en masse on September 21 and deliver the pdp in the Guber poll across the 18 Local Government Areas in the State.
