There obvious unseen forces behind Senator Oshiomole that makes him say the things he says on national television.
Senator Oshiomole was a guess analyst on political matter on Arise TV discarded decorum and embraced lies and propaganda just to sell the the hiding Senator Okpebholo. He didnt just concentrate in his salesmanship, he went to the extra but unnecessary length of attacking Governor Obaseki and Dr Ighodalo, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, candidate in the September 21st gubernatorial election.
It was shameful how the supposed elder stateman was disgraced that morning on the Arise TV in his disjointed attempt to spread his usual propaganda in the live interview that comes up every 4 years.
What was expected of Oshiomole was for him to sell his candidate that has nothing to offer. On what basis is Oshiomole selling Okpebholo if not just to make Edo State back to dark ages? Why is Oshiomole blackmailing Obaseki and Ighodalo in full glare when he could just have concentrated in marketing the impossible Okpebholo to the people?
Oshiomole must rise above his sinister attempts to deceive the people of Edo State that are wiser. He must rise above sentiments he expressed on Arise TV for the interest of Edo State. There is nothing to gain by selling Okpebholo to the very enlightened people of Edo State. There is no advantage for Oshiomole to reap from reintroducing tigers and lions to the streets of Edo State.
I want to encourage Oshiomole to adopt a more patriotic approach on issues affecting Edo State rather than the approach of partisan politics. He should take a cue from the likes of elders like Odigie Oyegun, who though are members of the opposition in the state, they are not running their thoughts wildly.
