Nigeria has witnessed growing discontent among its citizens due to persistent issues of bad governance, corruption, and social injustice. The recent protests under the #EndBadGovernance have highlighted the urgent need for systemic change and accountability from those in power.
The Osun State Chapter of Association of Nigerian Authors seeks to capture the emotions, experiences, and thoughts of Nigerians and observers worldwide regarding these critical protests in an anthology.
This anthology offers a platform for individuals to express their perspectives on the state of governance in Nigeria through the powerful medium of poetry.
Outstanding entries will be compiled and published in an online platform and subsequently in book format. This publication aims to document the voices and narratives of every Nigerian affected by the system of the country, ensuring their stories are preserved and remembered for future generations.
By creating a lasting record of these events, Association of Nigerian Authors, Osun State seeks to foster understanding and reflection on the social and political dynamics at play, highlighting the resilience and strength of the citizens.
