Gombe State, which has eleven Local Government Areas and is situated in North-Eastern Nigeria, has been dealing with a serious problem lately: a high number of Kalare, or thugs.

- Strengthening Law Enforcement Capabilities: The state can contribute to the improvement of law enforcement agencies’ capacity to successfully combat crime and apprehend offenders by providing them with adequate infrastructure and resources.
- Establishing Community-Based Programs: The state can assist in guiding individuals away from a life of crime and provide them with alternative pathways for both professional and personal development by putting in place community-based programs targeted at getting young people involved in constructive activities.
Finally, There are several causes and effects to the high rate of Kalare in Gombe State, making it a complicated problem. It is feasible to lower the number of Kalare in the state and give its citizens a safer and more prosperous future by comprehending the underlying causes of the issue and putting workable solutions in place.
