In response to the economic hardship faced by the populace, especially the indigent in Gombe State, Secretary to Government of the State, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, donated assorted food items for distribution to cushion the effects of hunger.
PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports Njodi who is also known as Madakin Kaltungo initially donated bags of assorted grains through the Mai Kaltungo, Engineer Sale Mohammed, for distribution to the needy in Maidom.
He also identified women groups, mostly widows, for further gestures of food items, including rice, corn, and maize.
Additionally, Njodi extended his kindness to vulnerable individuals across the state, identifying those in need and providing support.
Recently, he donated assorted food items and N100,000 in cash to the Girls Brigade (GB) Nigeria during their North-East Camp in Kaltungo.
This display of love, care, and concern from Professor Njodi is commendable and worthy of praise, as he has consistently demonstrated his commitment to serving humanity, earning him prayers and support for greater responsibilities.
As a Professor of intellectual standing, former Vice Chancellor, and epitome of fidelity, integrity, hard work, and resilience, he has brought his wealth of experience to bear in the governance of Gombe State under Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya.
While Prof. Njodi prefers to keep his charitable acts quiet, saying ‘Inayi don Allah’ (doing it for God), his generosity and support for those in need deserve public recognition.
