As part of its humanitarian efforts, the Gombe State Emergency Management Agency has presented essential items to 150 nursing mothers across seven health facilities in Gombe metropolis.

The agency’s Executive Secretary, Abdullahi Haruna Abdullahi, led the initiative, which aims to support new mothers in their care-giving responsibilities.
The beneficiary health facilities include Specialist Hospital Gombe, Zainab Bulkachuwa Woman and Children Hospital, and five Primary Health Care centers.
PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports that the donated items comprise wrappers, pampers, antiseptic, bathing soap, and detergent.
Abdullahi Haruna Abdullahi emphasized that this gesture aligns with Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya’s commitment to supporting vulnerable groups, particularly nursing mothers.
He noted that the present administration cares deeply about the well-being of new mothers and their families.
Beneficiaries expressed gratitude to Governor Yahaya and SEMA for the timely support, describing it as a significant relief during a challenging period.
They prayed for divine rewards for the Governor and SEMA’s kindness. A beneficiary’s husband, Malam Umar, also thanked the Governor and SEMA for their assistance.
This humanitarian effort demonstrates SEMA’s dedication to supporting those in need, particularly vulnerable groups like nursing mothers.
