The Peoples Democratic party, Progressive Youths in Bali local government area of Taraba State on Monday, called on Governor Agbu Kefas, to disregard reports making the round about Commissioner for cooperative and poverty alleviation, Hon. James Philip.
The group clarified that the reports were handiwork of mischief makers from Bali local government, suspected to being sponsored by enemies of Kefas’ administration, as the reports have all been confirmed as fake news.
The Bali PDP Progressive Youths in an open letter to governor Kefas, signed by the President Comrade Uten Dubagari, described the commissioner as a dedicated gentleman who is focused towards ensuring the administration of Governor Kefas achieves greatness.
“Dear His Excellency Dr Agbu kefas, we the PDP Progressive Youths of Bali Local Government wish to counterattack an open letter by one Nuru Ahijo from Garba Chede, assassinating the character of your Commissioner for Cooperative and Poverty Alleviation, Hon. James Habu Philip. Nuru Ahijo is a political thug who is violent, lawless and bully.
“He is being hired and used by a selfish disgruntled politician to achieve certain aim in politics, subjecting the people of Bali local government into Nepotism and Neocolonialism.
“Nuru is not a member of the PDP. He is paid to discredit your administration by blackmailing the commissioner to destroy public confidence in your government.
“The political thug (Nuru), is paid by selfish politician to spread false information, campaign negatively and criticize against progressive individuals who are supporting the PDP government to attract development in Bali and Taraba at large. He is being used by some element who want to claim political dominance over elders and stakeholders, claim to be members of PDP but deep in them are not.
“Hon. Habu James is one responsible young man that every Community would want to have as a representative. He is committed, trust worthy and has never acted contrary to elders and stakeholders decision.
“The commissioner has never been involved in any negative act. We want you to disregard any report of such, and consider it as blackmail against him. He is a mobiliser that is committed to service delivery.
“As a progressive youths, we will always stand by the truth and defend it for the development of Bali local government. Hon Habu has no questionable character in any way. He has no time to fight for self political dominance. His mind is designed toward service delivery for his ministry and create positive impact for the Bali Community,” the progressive PDP youths submitted.
