The newly posted State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Gombe State Command, Gyama Gyawiya has visited the Secretary to Government of Gombe State, Professor Ibrahim Njodi at the Government House, Gombe.
This was contained in a press statement signed by the Public Relations Officer to the command SC Buhari Saad, on Tuesday.
The visit by Gyawiya, and his management team was to officially informed Njodi of his appointment as the new State Commandant of Corps in the state.
He assured of his commitment and that of the Command to ensure safety, security and the protection of critical assets, both public and private in the State.
In his response, Njodi, warmly welcomed Commandant Gyama on behalf of Governor Muhammadu Yahaya, to the state.
The Gombe State Scribe acknowledged the contributions of the immediate past Commandant, now ACG Muhammad Muazu, for the service rendered the state and promised a greater working relationship between the state government and the corps.
