28-year-old Hassan Muhammad, has been nabbed by Gombe State Police command for forcefully taking a 16-year-old Zaliha Ibrahim, to Kano in a bid marry her.
According to the Public Relations Officer ASP Buhari Abdullahi, Muhammad had approached Ibrahim’s father who had requested for more time before giving his consent.

Explaining how Muhammad was nabbed in Kano, Abdullahi said the command will continue to strive for a better service in performance of its constitutional responsibilities.
“A team of detectives from CP monitoring unit swung into action to kano State Police Command and to Hisbah Commission where tracking analysis was conducted on the suspect’s phone number revealed his location.
