The Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare, Dr Iziaq Salako, has called for measures to ensure industrial harmony among unions in the health sector.

He made the call when he received members of the National Tertiary Health Institutions Standard Committee on a courtesy visit.
Salako stressed that maintaining peace in the health sector is vital for achieving President Bola Tinubu’s goals for improved healthcare delivery.

He urged the committee to develop strategies to prevent industrial actions, rebuild public trust in health workers, and enhance government credibility.
The minister further urged health worker to ensure they serve patients as they like to be served, while stressing to them to be more dedicated and efficient in saving lives, because health is wealth.
