The National Youth Service Corps in Gombe State has conducted a low-key Passing-Out Parade for the 2023 Batch “C” Stream II Corps Members across the 11 Local Government Areas.
At the Bolari NYSC Orientation Camp, the State Coordinator Chinwe Nwachuku, bade farewell to the Corps Members from Gombe LGA, officially closing the service year.

She said, “A total of 1,226 Corps Members, comprising 453 females and 773 males, successfully completed their national service.
“11 Corps Members were granted extension of service, while eight were reported to have absconded.”
The NYSC Gombe State Coordinator urged the outgoing Corps Members to utilise the valuable skills and experience gained during their service year for national development.
Nwachuku noted that throughout their service year, the 2023 Batch “C” Stream II Corps Members contributed significantly to Gombe State’s development, engaging in community projects, teaching, healthcare services, and rural infrastructure development.
The outgoing 1,226 Corps Members received their Certificate of National Service and proceed to their respective destinations, equipped with the skills and experience gained during their service year.
