The Secretary to Government of Gombe State Professor Ibrahim Njodi, has been awarded the best performing chief scribe in the country by the National Leadership Awards for the year 2024.

Three Commissioners from the state were equally awarded best performing commissioners in their respective line of duty.

The commissioners include; Engr Usman Maijama’a Kallamu of the Works, Housing and Transport ministry, the Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice Barr Z. M. Umar and Adamu Ibrahim Pantami of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development.
The presentation ceremony which took place at the Merit House Abuja on Wednesday attracted eminent Nigerians from far and wide as well as family members and friends of the recipients.
The Gombe State award recipients dedicated the award to Governor Muhammadu Yahaya, who gave them the opportunity serve in their respective capacities and good people of Gombe State who have been supportive to administration’s policies and programmes.
Professor Njodi was represented at the presentation ceremony by Engr. Abubakar Muhammad Magaji.
