Your Attitude Determines Your Attitude-Arch-Bishop B.A. Idahosa of blessed memory.

Life throws challenges at us .What is important is how we tackle them .Your current state in life is determined by 30 Percent of what happens to you and 70 Percent of how you react to same .

Positive attitude is an indispensable mien to be successful in whatever you do in life. Instead of looking at the cup half empty, why don’t you look at it half filled ?

The first step to succeed in what ever you do is to conceive the idea. From Conception you plan .Put all your plans in black and white. Next, develop competencies in what you you intend do and also be very precise in the execution of your plans , with out room for laxities .

A failure will give you ten reasons not achieve a task, but a go-getter will give you a reason to succeed. The first thing in having a positive attitude is being a go-getter. Ask yourself for example , what have I achieved at work or business today? Some persons are always looking at the clock to see when they will close at work , while others ,lwill work hard , not looking at the time .

A practical story

Professor Yemi Osibanjo SAN ,former Vice President of Nigeria was a University Don at the Faculty of Law ,University of Lagos .He had several staff working under him. Most other staff close at exactly 4pm as Civil servants will do , but there was just this staff that will only close , when Professor Yemi Osibanjo closed, at times by 7pm .He was the first to come and the last to go .He worked very hard with all his heart . Professor Yemi Osibanjo SAN left him there and went for higher callings .

One Day, Prince Bola Ajibola SAN, became a Justice at the International Court of Justice at the Hague , Netherlands and he called Professor Yemi Osibanjo SAN to give him a reliable private secretary. Professor Yemi Osibanjo SAN recommended that dedicated staff. Today that former staff of Professor Yemi Osibanjo is such a successful man in the United Nations systems that he once bought Professor Yemi Osibanjo SAN a brand new car .

So, the little days you do in life is part of the bigger picture. Do not say “How much dem dey pay me”, value is not in money, but in some invincible indices One plus one in life is not always two .It could be zero or one billion or more .Life is a mystery and the way you rise , has followed the same Principles for thousands of years .There is no short cut, you have to follow the mystery of process .

It was Norman Cousin that said :

The tragedy in life is not that we die , but what dies inside us while we live
