A Youth group, Southern Taraba Youth Vanguard has commended President Bola Tinubu, for appointing Professor Ayuba Dauda, as the Chief Medical Director, Federal University Teaching Hospital Wukari.
Mr Umaru Emmanuel, the group spokesperson in a statement, described the appointment as federal government’s commitments to meritocracy in health care services.
The group expressed that the appointment of professor Ayuba was timely, bearing his pedigree in the medical and teaching practice.
“Ayuba is an experienced academic, medical consultant and a practitioner who is well-equipped to advance the mission of the FUW Teaching Hospital with high quality health care and medical education.
“We wish to sincerely thank president Bola Tinubu for the choice of Ayuba to serve in the capacity. We must submit here that Ayuba’s appointment is out of federal government’s commitments to quality health care services.
“It is our hope that the newly appointed CMD will use his wide experience to attract new medical expertise, research initiatives and federal investments that will be of huge benefits to Taraba and Nigeria at large,” the group commended.
