The Chairman of Gombe Local Area Barrister Sani Haruna, was at the ECWA Gospel Church, Gombe, in solidarity with Christians on the occasion of Christmas celebration.
Haruna who doubles as the Chairman of ALGON Gombe State, used the solidarity visit to donate the sum of N1m to the less privileged in the churches visited and the Christian orphanage homes within the State Capital.
This action by Haruna demonstrates a rare leadership quality built on the tripod of love, peace and unity of purpose among humans irrespective religious affiliation.

Accompanied on the visit by the CAN Chairman Gombe LGA Rev. Jim Amos and his council members, the chairman assured of inclusive leadership among the citizens of the council respective of their ideological linens.
The chairman used the visit to harp on unity, peace, togetherness and love calling for sustain prayers for the Local Government and the State at large.
He also wished Christians merry Christmas and prosperous new year celebrations.
Responding, Reverend in charge Rev. Andrew Yusuf, appreciated the chairman for the visit, adding that such a visit will promote peace among the citizens and commended him for his excellent stewardship so far, describing his visit as first of its kind.
Andrew also used the medium to appeal to Governor Muhammadu Yahaya to recruit more Christian Religious Studies teachers in primary and secondary school in the state.
He also thanked the chairman for providing solar lights at the Christian cemetery and prompt payment of salaries of security guard at the cemetery among others support to the Christian community.
Special prayers were offered for the chairman for God’s guidance and upliftment.
