A notorious kidnappers’ den, Udoka Golden Point Hotel and Suites, also known as “La Cruise Hotel”, located in Oba, Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State, has been demolished by state authorities.

According to Mazi Obele Harrison, who disclosed the demolition, the hotel was a hub for kidnapping and other nefarious activities. “The Udoka Golden Point Hotel and Suites was a den of kidnappers, where innocent people were taken and never seen again,” Harrison said.

He noted that during the demolition, authorities made chilling discoveries, including graves of over 30 victims on the top floor of the hotel and a shrine used for sinister rituals.
Harrison described the scene as “horrific” and praised the state authorities for taking action against the kidnappers. “May the souls of the victims rest in peace, and may their families find closure. The demolition of this den is a victory for justice,” he said.
Residents claim the demolition of the hotel is seen as a major breakthrough in the fight against kidnapping and crime in Anambra State as authorities promised to continue their efforts to rid the state of criminal elements and ensure the safety of citizens.
