Governor Okpebholo made this declaration during a food outreach event organised by the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) at the New Festival Hall in Benin City. The initiative, led by First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu, aims to provide relief to vulnerable households across Nigeria.

“We are assuring you, Mr. President, of our 100% votes in the State come 2027 presidential election, and if possible, we will give you more than 100%,” Okpebholo stated.

The governor highlighted that citizens in Edo State are beginning to enjoy the “dividends of democracy” under Tinubu’s administration. “Look at food items all over the place in this hall, all thanks to the President and his wife for this great initiative that Edo people are benefiting from today,” he said.

Representing the First Lady, Hajia Nana Shettima, wife of the Shettima revealed that the RHI, which began in March 2024, has so far reached seven states, including Edo. She urged beneficiaries to make good use of the food items for their families.

“We are happy in Edo State, and the people are beginning to see and enjoy a new dawn. Look at food items all over the place in this hall, all thanks to the President and his wife for this great initiative that Edo people are benefiting from today,” he added.

The Coordinator of the First Lady’s office in Edo State, Mrs. Edesili Anani Okpebholo, expressed gratitude for Senator Tinubu’s impactful programs, which have touched millions of Nigerians. She also commended Governor Okpebholo for his support and developmental achievements.

Food items distributed at the event included noodles, semovita, pasta, and other essentials, providing relief to many vulnerable households in the state.
