Manchester City midfielder, Bernardo Silva, has ruled out the club from the Premier League title race this season
Manchester City have struggled with a shocking drop in form since October, managing only two wins in their last 14 fixtures across all competitions. This dismal run includes nine defeats and three draws.
Heading into the New Year, Pep Guardiola’s side sits in sixth place with 31 points from 19 games, trailing league leaders Liverpool by a staggering 14 points—despite Liverpool having a game in hand.
Bernardo Silva, speaking to Sky Sports, stated,“I would say [the Premier League title is] not impossible because in football there are no impossibles, but right now, Man City is completely out of the title race.
“There’s no question about that. It’s too late for us.
“People always say that you don’t win a league until January but you can lose it, and this season the reality is we’ve lost it,” Silva added.
