Gombe State Governor Muhammadu Yahaya, has congratulated 200 indigenes of the state who passed out as police constables at the police training school in Yelwa, Bauchi State.
The governor, who was represented by Lt. Con. Abdullahi Bello, Commissioner of Internal Security and Home Affairs, urged the new constables to serve with diligence and integrity.

“I congratulate you and your families, and I wish you the best in your chosen career,” Governor Yahaya said in a goodwill message. “As you serve your country, remember to be good ambassadors of Gombe State and the nation.”
The Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, represented by Bauchi Commissioner of Police CP Auwal Musa, also charged the new police constables to uphold professionalism and integrity in their duties.
“The service will not condone any unethical act,” he warned.
The excited constables expressed gratitude to Governor Yahaya and the Gombe State Government for their support. “We are grateful for the support in cash and kind, which has greatly contributed to our success,” they said, assuring of their commitment to serve their country diligently.
The event featured an inspection of the parade by the reviewing officer and CP Bauchi State command, as well as a parade march on slow and quick time.
