Gombe State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Commandant Gyama Gyawiya, has received the newly posted Commissioner of Police of Gombe State, CP Bello Yahaya, on a courtesy visit.

According to a press statement signed by the Public Relations Officer SC Saad Buhari, which was obtained by PERISCOPE NIGERIA, CP Yahaya, said the purpose of his visit was to familiarise himself with the Command, build synergy, and enhance collaboration between the two security agencies in the state.
“No single agency can achieve its mandates alone, hence the need for cooperation,” the statement partly read.
Commandant Gyawiya welcomed the CP to the state and command, promising to foster a mutually beneficial working relationship between the NSCDC and the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) in Gombe State.
“We look forward to working together to strengthen security operations and promote a safer environment for citizens,” he said.
The visit ended with a photo session, marking the beginning of a new chapter in inter-agency collaboration in Gombe State. Our correspondent reports that the development is expected to have a positive impact on security operations in the state.
