Edo State’s Mixed Martial Arts scene just got a major boost with the inauguration of Karimu Usman, Edo International Champion of Mixed Martial Arts, as Chairman, and Douglas Ogbankwa, Activist and Lawyer, as Vice Chairman of the Edo State Mixed Martial Arts Association.
The inauguration ceremony took place at the Indoor Sports Hall of the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, with Hon Amadin Enabulele, Chairman of Edo State Sports Council, and other Sports Council Board Members in attendance.
Other notable members of the Edo State MMA Board include Kadiri Aloeye, AIT Journalist and Broadcaster, and Queen Osabouhien Aguebor, Influencer and Business Woman.
This new leadership is expected to bring much-needed direction and growth to MMA in Edo State, and the atmosphere is electric with excitement. With the right guidance, Edo State’s MMA scene is poised for greatness.
