The Emir of Gombe, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Abubakar Shehu Abubakar III, has affirmed his commitment to supporting the Youth O’Clock Advancement Movement Nigeria in its mission to improve the lives of young people in Gombe State and across the nation.

The revered monarch made this pledge while receiving a delegation from the movement at his palace on a courtesy visit, led by the National Convener, Engineer Seth Francis.
Commending Youth O’Clock Nigeria for its impactful initiatives aimed at youth empowerment, the Emir urged the leadership of the organization to remain steadfast and dedicated.
He encouraged them to emulate his efforts in promoting education by ensuring that more children are enrolled in school, preparing them to become responsible future leaders.
The royal father further assured that his doors remain open to Youth O’Clock Nigeria, emphasizing his unwavering support for any initiative that drives meaningful development, especially for young people.
Alhaji Abubakar Shehu Abubakar III also attributed the prevailing peace in Gombe State to the unity and harmony among its people, irrespective of ethnic or religious differences.
Earlier, the National Convener and Coordinator of Youth O’Clock Nigeria, Engineer Seth Francis, who traveled a long distance to Gombe, stated that the visit was to appreciate the Emir for his selfless service to the people, particularly his efforts in creating opportunities for young people across various sectors.
He reassured the Emir that Youth O’Clock Nigeria is a non-political organization dedicated solely to empowering the younger generation to become visionary leaders of tomorrow.
In his remarks, the Gombe State Coordinator of Youth O’Clock Nigeria, Comrade Abdulazeez Sani Labaran, expressed profound gratitude to the Emir for the warm reception given to the delegation.
He also announced that, in commemoration of International Youth Day on August 12, youths across the state would converge at the palace to present their concerns to the Emir for future actions.
A key moment of the visit was the presentation of an award, along with a branded Youth O’Clock T-shirt and cap, to the royal father by Engineer Seth Francis, Additionally, the Emir was honored with an appointment as the “Gombe Grand Patron” of Youth O’Clock Nigeria by the State Coordinator, Comrade Abdulazeez Sani Labaran.
The delegation comprised members of the National, State, and Local Government Executive Councils of the Youth O’Clock Advancement Movement Nigeria, reflecting a broad representation of leadership within the organization.
