Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has expressed his heartfelt condolences to Barrister Rambi Ibrahim Ayala, an All Progressives Congress chieftain and former Member of the State House of Assembly, over the demise of his mother, Mama Halima Molsurou Ayala.
Mama died on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at the age of 105.
Yahaya paid tribute to the late centenarian, in a press statement signed by Director-General Press Affairs Gombe Government House Ismaila Misilli, describing her as an exceptional woman and a strong pillar of support for both her family and community.

He praised her tireless work as a farmer, always working to provide for her loved ones and anyone in need, emphasizing how her character and profound impact were felt by all who knew her.
“Though she is no longer with us, the values Mama instilled in her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren will certainly endure,” he said.
The governor offered words of comfort to the entire Ayala family of Billiri local government area, urging them to take solace in the fact that Mama’s legacy of love, hard work, and community service will continue to inspire future generations.
He prayed for the peaceful eternal repose of the soul of the deceased, and for the Ayala family to find strength and comfort over this huge loss.
