The Secretary to Government of Gombe State Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, on Sunday led a delegation of eight House of Assembly members from Gombe South to commiserate with Senator Joshua Lidani, over the loss of his son-in-law, Pastor Victor Ibrahim Yila.

PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports that the delegation, which included Hon. Gabriel G. Fushison, Hon. Yakubu Daniel, Hon. Niprod Melon Yari, and Hon. Musa Buba, visited Senator Lidani at the Federal Housing Estate.

Speaking on behalf of the delegation, House Majority Leader Yerima Ladan Gaule, urged Senator Lidani, the deceased’s widow, and relatives to take heart and bear the painful loss, describing death as a necessary end to all humans.
Gaule conveyed the condolences of the people of Gombe South and Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya to the grieving family, noting that the late clergy lived an impactful life.
Senator Lidani appreciated the delegation’s visit, praying for God’s reward and blessings upon them.
He also thanked Governor Yahaya for his concern towards the welfare and well-being of citizens.
