SERAPHIC Hospital owned by a miracle-faking pastor, Mr. Ebuka Obi in Lagos has exposed the inherit quackery, banal hypnotism and the incompetent government health regulatory agency in Nigeria for what it is: absurdity!

A series of tragic events has unfolded at Seraphic Hospital and Maternity Home in Lagos, exposing a disturbing pattern of neglect and incompetence. The hospital has been plagued by multiple deaths due to negligence, poor management, and unprofessional conduct.

• Pate and Ebuka Obi

The latest incident involves the death of a three-year-old child due to the unprofessional application of a drip. This heartbreaking event is not an isolated incident; numerous other deaths have been reported, including newborns and mothers. The hospital’s management has shown a shocking lack of accountability and urgency in addressing these incidents.

Despite the gravity of the situation, the government has maintained a deafening silence. The Lagos State Government and the Minister of Health, Prof Muhammad Ali Pate, have failed to investigate or take concrete action to address the issue. This inaction is unacceptable and has left many to wonder about the lack of accountability and urgency in protecting human life.

The exact number of fatalities is unclear, but sources suggest that it is substantial. What is even more disturbing is that these incidents appear to have been met with a lack of urgency and attention from the authorities. The government’s silence on this matter is alarming and raises serious questions about the value placed on human life.

The public demands answers and action. We urge the government to launch a thorough investigation into the multiple murders and deaths at Seraphic Hospital and Maternity Home. Perpetrators must be held accountable, and those found guilty of negligence or wrongdoing must face justice.

Furthermore, measures must be implemented to prevent future tragedies, namely; improving healthcare standards and enhancing patient safety, providing adequate training for medical staff, and ensuring accountability and transparency in hospital management.

The situation at Seraphic Hospital is a stark reminder of the need for greater accountability and action from the government. It is time for the authorities to take responsibility, act with urgency, and ensure that justice is served.
