Ismaila Uba Misilli, Director-General Press Affairs Gombe Government House, was on Wednesday named ‘Most Outstanding Spokesperson of the Year’ in the state category at the National Spokespersons Awards 2025.
The awards ceremony was organised by the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations in collaboration with Image Merchants Promotions and the Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation.
“I am deeply grateful to my family, colleagues, and the exceptional media team whose support and behind-the-scenes efforts make our work both seamless and impactful,” Misilli said in a press statement obtained by PERISCOPE NIGERIA.
He attributed his achievement to the visionary leadership of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, saying, “This is truly a proud moment for Gombe State and a direct reflection of the visionary leadership of my principal… whose trust, guidance, and support consistently motivate us to strive for excellence.”
Misilli concluded by expressing optimism about Gombe State’s progress, stating, “With every stride, Gombe State continues to rise and shine”.
