Former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has described the Bola TinTinubu-led administration as the most corrupt and dishonest administration in Nigeria’s political history.
Speaking in a recent interview on Arise TV, El-Rufai accused the Tinubu administration of relying heavily on propaganda, especially regarding the country’s worsening security challenges. “This is the most lying government that depends on false propaganda,” he said.
“They lied that security has improved in Nigeria. They read out numbers of bandits killed, except the ones we know are the leading bandits.”
He specifically pointed to notorious terrorists and bandit leaders like Dogo Gide, Mallam Abba, and Bello Turji, stating that none of them had been eliminated, even as many local government areas in Katsina, Zamfara, and Sokoto States remain under the control of criminal groups.

When asked what he believed was wrong with the current administration, El-Rufai turned the question back at Nigerians: “I should ask you. Can you afford three square meals? Can your salary buy what it used to buy two years ago? I should ask you. Is there nothing wrong with the government?”
El-Rufai insisted that the Tinubu government had failed to address the root causes of insecurity in the country and was more focused on deceiving the public than delivering solutions.
“I have said it before, this is the worst federal government in Nigeria’s history and all the indices have shown it. This is the most corrupt and most intolerant government in Nigeria,” El-Rufai asserted.
