The Pharmaceutical Council of Nigeria has taken decisive action against non-compliant pharmaceutical premises in Gombe State.
The council sealed 100 premises for regulatory violations, including non-renewal of licences and operation of illegal premises.

Seven vendors were arrested for breaking official PCN seals on their premises and will face thorough investigation and prosecution.
The enforcement team inspected 144 pharmaceutical premises across the state, finding 100 non-compliant.
The PCN reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical regulations in Nigeria.
To achieve this, the council disclosed its resolve to implement the National Drug Distribution Guidelines, aimed at curbing the sale of unregulated and substandard medicines.
PCN further noted that operators are urged to adhere strictly to regulatory standards to avoid legal consequences.
