In a press statement, they described Atiku as “one of the most qualified hopefuls to lead Nigeria under the PDP in 2027,” citing his experience, business acumen, and educational background.

The statement was signed by Ismail M. Gombe, Chairman, Concerned PDP Youth, Gombe State, and Abubakar Pantami, Secretary, Concerned PDP Youth, Gombe State.

The group rejected claims by an alleged faceless group led by Jamilu Adamu Danjarida, urging Atiku to step back from active politics.

“This group lacks the authority to speak on behalf of the PDP Concerned Youth in Gombe State, and their claims are baseless and unfounded,” the statement read.

The PDP Concerned Youth expressed concern over the damage done to Nigeria’s economy and political landscape by the All Progressives Congress (APC) administrations. “The PDP is the solution to the country’s challenges, and Atiku’s leadership would be instrumental in reversing the damage done by the APC,” they said.

The group called on Atiku to contest the 2027 presidential election under the PDP, pledging to give him their maximum support and backing. “We urge all PDP members and supporters to rally behind his potential candidacy,” the statement added.

The PDP Concerned Youth in Gombe State are determined to play a significant role in the 2027 elections, working tirelessly to support Atiku’s potential candidacy and ensure the PDP emerges victorious.

“We believe in Atiku’s leadership qualities, experience, and vision for Nigeria,” the statement concluded. “Together, we can build a better Nigeria.”
