✓ Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi’s Educational journey began at the ECWA Primary School from 1967- 1968, Kalaring Primary School from 1968 – 1975. He proceeded to Government Teachers’ College Jama’are Bauchi State from 1975 – 1980 where he graduated with flying colours.
His exceptional performance led to the Young Njodi been crown as the overall Best Student clinching the Price for the 1980 set of the College.
Armed with the entry requirement for a University education, Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi gained admission into the University of Maiduguri from 1981 – 1985, where he obtained B.Sc. Physical & Health Education.
In his quest for more knowledge Njodi proceeded for his Master’s Degree from 1988 – 1991 in the same University, Specializing in Health Education.
✓ Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi was also at the prestigious University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) where he obtained his Ph.D in Public Health Education.
✓ As a scholar of distinction, Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi has actively participated in numerous national and international conferences and seminars and had published papers in several peer reviewed high quality Journals and chapters in books in his areas of specialization. To this day Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi has to his credit, over fifty three (53) academic publications, in addition to rendering selfless service to serveral communities, States and international organizations.

A recipient of National Productivity Order (NPOM) Award confered on him by the President and Commander- in-chief of the Armed forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in 2017 during his days as Vice Chancellor Unimaid.
The award made reference to his excellent performance as a VC of University of Maiduguri.
Professor Njodi no doubt has the capacity, the intellect, the administrative prowess to hold any position of authority with much zeal and respect for humanity.
While acknowledging calls from some individuals and groups for him to consider contesting for the Governorship seat of Gombe State,Professor’s Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi had while admitting the legitimacy of the calls, believe that consolidating on the excellent performance of his principal, Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya CON is key especially when given the chance and support to prove his mettle.
