Alhaji Mustapha Umar Bakau, Village Head of Kafiromi, has presented an Award of Excellence to Rural Health Mission Nigeria in recognition of its outstanding contribution to the renovation of the community’s health facility in Kafiromi community, Gamawa LGA, Bauchi State.
The project, which was in response to damage sustained by the facility last year, included the installation of a solar-powered water supply system, connection of water system, the establishment of hand hygiene stations, and a full repainting of the facility.
Bakau disclosed that the award acknowledges the organisation’s unwavering dedication to strengthening healthcare infrastructure and improving access to quality care.
“The impact of these efforts has been deeply felt by the Kafiromi community, earning heartfelt appreciation and gratitude,” the Village Head said.
