Gombe Operations Office of the National Emergency Management Agency on Tuesday donated relief materials to the victims of fire outbreaks that affected some residents of Toro Federal Constituency of Bauchi State.

The fire outbreak affected no fewer than 13 communities, 196 houses, and 2,353 persons, leading to the death of three persons, leaving six others injured.

Following the approval of relief materials to victims of fire disaster in Toro Federal Constituency of Bauchi State, NEMA GOO team was in Toro for the distribution exercise.

The relief materials consisting of food and non food items were shared among the beneficiaries in collaboration with the legislative Aide of the honourable member representing Toro federal constituency, Local government officials, community leaders, securities and media.

The beneficiaries expressed their appreciation to NEMA and the federal government for responding to their plight.
