Human rights lawyer and author, Dele Farotimi, has once again criticised the regime of former President Muhammadu Buhari, for the economic and political damages inflicted on the Nigerian state.
In a post shared on his X account, Farotimi said that in any other country in the world, Buhari would be in a prison cell for multiple crimes against the Nigerian people.
The activist who described Buhari as ‘the hypocrite of Daura ‘ said nobody has done more to kill Nigeria than the former Nigerian leader.
According to him, treason would be among the crimes Buhari would be arrested in any sane society.
Recall that Farotimi once lamented that under Buhari, the ruling class were mostly populated by a bunch of reprobate thieves, and the glaring contradictions of a corrupt system that preaches anti-corruption, whilst in the grip of the most vile of corrupt persons, were daily played out in the full glare of Nigerians.
He also maintained that Bola Tinubu cannot separate himself from the failures of the ex-Muhammadu Buhari administration.
Farotimi stated that nothing has been done by the Tinubu government to expect anything positive. Instead, he said Nigerians should brace up for more challenges beyond the economic hardship occasioned by the petrol subsidy removal and unification of the foreign exchange windows.
