The Gombe State Bureau of Statistics on Tuesday launched the 2023 Statistical Year Book, which presents a comprehensive overview of the state’s development landscape through data.
PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports that this flagship publication offers critical insight in Agriculture, Revenue generation and Performance, Population growth, Education, Health, Human resource, Road Safety, and economic trends.
Speaking at the event, the state acting Statistician General Ibrahim Dole Abubakar, said the document will serve as a vital tool for policy makers, development partners, researchers, and the media, offering accurate and actionable statistics.



Abubakar commended Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for supporting the agency which led to the successful publication of the statistical book noting that accurate data remains critical guide for development and assured of his office commitment accuracy in data presentation and analysis.
The event took place at the Data control room of the Bureau was attended by government officials including; Commissioner of budget and economic planning Salisu Baba Alkali who served as the special guest of honour at the event, the Directors of Planning Research and Statistics (DPRS) of relevant relevant MDAs as well as the Clinton Health Access Initiative whom are development partners with the Gombe State Bureau of Statistics.
