The Secretary to Government of Gombe State, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, has donated the sum of N500,000 to support the ECWA Good News Church, Federal Low-Cost, Gombe, in its ongoing auditorium building project.
The donation was made during a ₦50 million fundraising event organised by the church on Sunday, and was presented on behalf of the SGS by Joshua Danmalam, who represented him at the occasion.

According to Danmalam, the gesture is part of Professor Njodi’s continued commitment to supporting religious groups and promoting peaceful coexistence across the state.
“The SSG believes in the unity of all humans regardless of religious background,” he said.
Professor Njodi expressed appreciation to the church and the planning committee for the honour of being invited to participate in what he described as “the blessing of giving.” He offered prayers for the successful completion of the church auditorium and encouraged members of the public to contribute generously to the cause.
“Giving attracts God’s blessings,” he said. “I urge everyone to donate willingly, as supporting noble causes such as this brings divine reward.”
He further emphasised the importance of interfaith harmony, calling on both Christians and Muslims to continue living in peace and mutual respect.
“Peaceful coexistence is key to building a united and progressive society,” he noted.
The fundraising event was well attended by dignitaries, including the Deputy Governor of Gombe State, Dr Manassah Daniel Jatau, the Commissioner for Agriculture, Dr Barnabas Malle, and the Chairman of Kaltungo Local Government Area, Iliya Suleiman, among others.
