If we want to go far in PERO land, we must unite regardless of diverse perspectives and personalities, we must see each other as brothers and sisters irrespective of the different communities we belong or come from, the priority must be about the entire PERO land progress and not about a particular community, unless of course we want to continue eating from the crumbs falling off the tables of our political rivals who are strategic in their approach of making sure we never raise to a seat of power over them by consistently using the divine and rule strategy for a while now that has caused so much disunity amongst us as a peaceful and loving people that we are known for, for decades now.

‎ It is imperative we unite as PERO people, our strength lies in holding each other’s hands and protecting each other’s interest regardless of political differences as the good people of PERO land. Handshakes have long been a symbol of agreement, mutual respect and peaceful coexistence, when it is extended genuinely in the context of unity, it builds a strong bond more than just a greeting, it represents a deep commitment to working together for a common goal.

‎

‎ We must understand as PERO people that Unity is essential for progress in our society (PERO) whether in community life, politics or religion bearing in mind that divisions of any sort slow down development and breed hate. We all are testament to that, looking at our political journey over the years, we all can see how we as the people of PERO land have become a joke to our political opponents. How can you even believe that your opponent or rival in politics has your best interest and your community’s interest in politics more than your brother that you are from the same political zone with? Politics is a game of interest but your selfish interest shouldn’t supercede the interest of your people and community. We have to make a decision and take a stand to defend the interest of our land as patriotic PERO people if we want our political opponents to take us seriously and stop playing mind games with us in PERO, politically.

‎

‎ It’s unfortunate how someone from GWANDUM, FILIYA, GUNDALI, KUSHI, CHONGE etc, could believe that he/she can emerge in politics without the support of his/her brothers from the same community. Who deceived us and sold that deceptive lies to us? Can’t we see and read in between the witty words as a strategic weapon to destabilize and strip us off the political arena? Wake up my people, we are intelligent, calculative, smart and strategic when it comes to politics, go back and learn from our falling Heroes, the likes of late Barr. ABUBAKAR IDRIS, late Barr. STEVEN GARBA etc. There was a time that decisions can’t be made without consulting them, let us all learn something from them. They succeeded in politics during their era not because of self interests alone but they worked together holding each other’s hands as PERO people for the progress, pride and dignity of PERO land, they were never used as an instrument of stomach infrastructure that our people are playing today. I’m writing this piece with so much disheartening seeing how my PERO people have become a joke in the political arena, a land that was feared in the past when it comes to politics in Gombe State. Today we have become toys to play with in Gombe State politics.

‎

‎ It is never too late for us to unite as PERO people and be the game changers come 2027, let us make our falling heroes proud even in their graves 🙏. They have mock us enough and calling us all sort of unprintable names because of some of us that have lost their dignity and self respect as the true PEROMITES over a plate of porridge that you eat today and you are back to your oppressors for more plate of porridge when you can actually afford the whole pot of porridge if you say no to their manipulative act and do the right thing. They said we lack focus, and that the only thing we care about is stomach infrastructure and MIN, therefore they neglect us and treat us as peasants. We get to see them only when they need our votes and they will bring their stipends to buy our conscience and turn us against each at the last minute and we forget who we are because of hunger and betray each other for an outsider that treats us with so much disdain and disrespect as a people.

‎

‎ My PERO PEOPLE 2027 is the time to strategize and change the game, it shouldn’t be game as usual. ma’ibu kurbe ma’chu ma yubure toghu ili PIPERO.
