Former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani, has waded into the brewing disagreement between the First Lady of Anambra State, Dr Nonye Soludo, and Senator Uche Ekwunife.

In a post shared on his official X handle, Sani referenced previous altercations involving the Anambra First Lady and former lawmaker, Hon. Bianca Ojukwu, which reportedly ended in physical confrontations.
He cautioned that a repeat of such incidents could be damaging to the image of public officeholders.
“The last two fightings between the Anambra First Lady and my sister and friend, Hon. Bianca, ended with a slap,” Sani wrote. “I suggest that in any public event, Distinguished Senator Ekwunife should not be allowed to come close to Her Excellency, the Anambra First Lady. Let there be peace.”
The outspoken senator stressed the importance of restraint and decorum in public life, particularly among leaders constantly under public scrutiny. He warned that persistent quarrels between high-profile figures risk undermining public confidence in the offices they represent.
Sani’s comments come amid heightened speculation about tension between Dr. Soludo and Senator Ekwunife, with observers calling for calm and reconciliation to prevent further controversies.
