Ahead of its inaugural flight scheduled for 28th November 2025, the management of Rano Air has offered employment to four indigenes of Gombe State.
The job placements are part of the agreement signed between the State Government and the airline.
Presenting the letters of appointment to the beneficiaries, Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, represented by the Secretary to the Government of Gombe State, Prof. Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, congratulated the new employees and advised them to be good ambassadors of the state.
He assured that more opportunities are underway for the teeming unemployed youths of the state, reiterating Governor Yahaya’s commitment to securing additional job placements in both federal and private sector establishments across the country.
In their remarks after receiving the appointment letters, the beneficiaries expressed gratitude to Governor Yahaya and the state government for facilitating their employment with Rano Air.
Present at the brief ceremony, which took place at the office of the SSG, were the Director-General of the Due Process Bureau, Engr. Muhammad Dauda Abubakar, and Alh. Sani Garba, Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on General Duties to His Excellency, the Governor.
