The Creation For Good Work (CFGW), a non-governmental organisation, on Friday offered free medical care to over 2,000 indigent persons in Wukari Local Government Area of Taraba State.

Mrs Naban Danjuma, Co-founder of the organisation, told PERISCOPE NIGERIA during the exercise held at the CRC-N Comprehensive Health Clinic in Wukari that CFGW was founded by her husband, Arc. Benjamin Gani, and herself to assist the less privileged with their health needs.
Danjuma said the foundation, established in 2016, has consistently provided support to the needy—including prisoners, orphans, and widows—through various interventions targeted at improving lives and restoring hope to the hopeless.
While expressing the organization’s desire to impact more lives, she encouraged other well-meaning individuals to give back to society, especially by helping those struggling to live, in line with God’s teachings.
“Our major challenge has always been funding, but we remain strong in our commitment to do what we can for the good of the people,” she said.
“Our intention is to expand this gesture worldwide within the next few years. Nothing is more fulfilling to me than helping fellow human beings in need. The mission to support the less privileged in society is a commitment my family has taken upon itself.”
The head of the medical team, Dr. Asideya Gazama, a medical practitioner with the Federal University Teaching Hospital, Wukari, said the three-day outreach recorded over 2,000 general health consultations and 20 eye surgeries, alongside the distribution of prescription glasses.
Dr Gazama described the initiative as a life-saving effort that has brought relief to thousands of indigent persons in Taraba State, urging wealthy citizens to emulate the gesture.
“The outreach offered general medical care and consultations to over 2,000 persons, including 20 eye surgeries, laboratory tests, and the distribution of free eyeglasses and drugs.
There were no complications. Our team was well-prepared to attend to as many patients as possible. Our focus was to address a wide range of medical concerns and provide comprehensive care,” he said.
Some beneficiaries of the free medical outreach—including Jocab Atando, Hadiza Yusuf, and Adi Sule—expressed gratitude to the foundation for the gesture.
They commended CFGW’s dedication to improving healthcare access for the underserved in Taraba State and prayed for God’s blessings upon the founders for making a lasting difference in people’s lives.
PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports that the three-day medical outreach also featured the distribution of material gifts to orphans, prisoners, and less privileged women by CFGW.
