Taraba State Governor, Dr. Agbu Kefas, on Wednesday presented a total budget estimate of ₦650.63 billion for the 2026 fiscal year to the State House of Assembly.
The governor said the 2026 budget was crafted to fast-track development and improve the welfare of residents across the state.
Tagged the “2026 Budget of Demonstration,” Kefas stated that his administration remains committed to capital-driven growth and sound fiscal policies aimed at transforming infrastructure, expanding energy access, and strengthening social development.

The governor noted that the budget would be financed through a combination of FAAC allocations, internally generated revenue, aids and grants, and capital development receipts.
