The programme, themed “Entrepreneurship Wisdom to Maximize Skills and Opportunities,” aimed to equip participants with sustainable, income-generating skills. The training included lectures, practical demonstrations, and hands-on sessions covering entrepreneurship, personal development, branding, and small-scale business management.

A total of 103 women were trained in paint, yoghurt, granola, parfait, and scented-candle production. The highlight of the programme was the unveiling of produced items branded “Hawk Yoghurt” and “Hawk Paints.” Starter kits and certificates were presented to participants on completion. Five participants were also presented with CAC business registration certificates by Mrs Opeyemi Ajongbo, to ensure smooth take-off of their businesses.

The programme concluded with practical sessions on screeding and painting, followed by a community project where two buildings within the barracks were painted using the produced Hawk Paints, demonstrating the practical application of acquired skills.

The initiative illustrates a commitment to empowering military families, fostering self-reliance, financial stability, and contributing to community development.
