The member representing Etsako Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Hon Anamero Dekeri alias Danco, has condemned in its entirety, the adoption and gruesome murder of a young medical science graduate, Abu Tahir Momoh, in Auchi Edo State.
In a statement released by his media team on Wednesday, Hon Dekeri expressed his deep concern over the senseless adoption of Tahir Momoh and his elder brother, Dr Abu Babantunde, a medical doctor with the Edo State University Teaching Hospital, Auchi, who reportedly, is still in the custody of the kidnappers.
The Honourable member described the incident as ” painful, gruesome and must not be allowed to repeat itself in our community”, he said.
He, however, expressed his sincere condolences to the bereaved family and the entire Auchi community while praying for God for the repose of the soul of the dead.
It should be recalled that the two brothers were kidnapped at about 7:30pm on January 1st, along City Pride Road, Igbira Camp, at the gate of their residence as they were about to enter their home after the day’s work.
