The Deputy National Financial Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Honourable Dattuwa Ali Kumo, has announced the donation of N12.5 million to the party’s state and local government structures in Gombe State.
Hon. Dattuwa made the announcement during separate visits to the APC State Secretariat, Gombe Local Government Secretariat, and Akko north party secretariat.

He explained that the donation was aimed at facilitating the smooth conduct of the ongoing electronic registration (e-registration) of party members across the state.
According to the approved sharing formula, the APC State Secretariat will receive N2 million, while Gombe and Akko Local Government Areas will receive N2 million each, bringing the subtotal to N6 million. The remaining ten local governments, along with youth, women, and other support groups, will receive N500,000 each, amounting to another N6.5 million.
Speaking at the various locations visited, the Deputy National Financial Secretary stated that the national leadership of the APC had mandated the delegation to inspect and monitor the conduct of the e-registration exercise in the state.
Hon. Dattuwa Ali Kumo, who led the delegation, expressed satisfaction with the ongoing exercise and urged party executives, political office holders, and members to redouble their efforts to ensure its overall success.
He further told state party executives and officials at the Gombe Local Government Secretariat that the APC embarked on the e-registration exercise to accurately identify genuine party members. According to him, this would enhance effective policy formulation and ensure that members benefit more from party programs.
Kumo added that the national leadership of the APC is proud of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON, Dan Majen Gombe, for the transformation and remodeling of Gombe State, noting that active participation in the e-registration exercise would further encourage the governor to do more for the people.
In his response, the APC State Chairman, Mr. Nitte Amangal, described the visit as a morale booster that would encourage party faithful to actively participate in the e-registration exercise. He assured that the State Executive Committee (EXCO) would do everything necessary to guarantee the success of the exercise.
Similarly, the APC Chairmen of Gombe and Akko Local Government Areas, in their separate remarks, expressed appreciation to the Deputy National Financial Secretary for the visit, noting that it would help them mobilize more members to fully participate in the e-registration process.
