Governor Muhammadu Yahaya of Gombe State on Friday announced that his administration has once again facilitated employment opportunities for indigenes of the state, securing seven federal government appointments for young citizens.

Of the beneficiaries, four were employed by the Federal College of Education, Bida, Niger State, while the remaining three secured appointments at the Federal Teaching Hospital (FTH), Gombe.
Presenting the appointment letters on behalf of the governor, the Secretary to Government of Gombe, Prof. Ibrahim Njodi, who was represented by the Permanent Secretary, General Duties, and Principal Private Secretary (PPS) to the Governor, Prof. Mu’azu Shehu, congratulated the beneficiaries and praised Governor Inuwa Yahaya for his continued commitment to youth empowerment.
Njodi urged the appointees to be good ambassadors of their families and Gombe State in their respective places of assignment.
“The administration of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya remains fully committed to youth employment and empowerment, and will continue to seize every available opportunity to improve the livelihoods of our people,” he said.
He explained that the appointments reflect the governor’s determination to ensure that qualified youths from Gombe State are adequately represented in federal institutions across the country.
Responding on behalf of the beneficiaries, some of the newly employed youths, alongside their parents and guardians, expressed profound gratitude to the governor for securing the jobs, describing the gesture as timely and impactful.
“This intervention has brought immense relief to our families. We are deeply grateful to His Excellency for his compassion and unwavering support for the people of Gombe State,” one of the beneficiaries said.
