The Commander, 14 Brigade Nigerian Army, Brigadier General Ahmad Mansur Dikko, has paid familiarisation visits to the Commanders of 82 Division Garrison and 34 Artillery Brigade as part of efforts to strengthen operational readiness and enhance collaboration among formations.

Brigadier General Dikko first visited the Commander, 82 Division Garrison, Brigadier General G.A. Suru, on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at the 82 Division Garrison Headquarters.
Speaking during the visit, Brigadier General Dikko expressed appreciation for the warm reception accorded him and his entourage, describing the engagement as an opportunity to deepen cooperation and build stronger working relationships with neighbouring formations.
“This visit is part of my effort to familiarise myself with the areas of responsibility of our flanking formations and units, and to strengthen the existing bonds of cooperation,” he said.
He reaffirmed his commitment to fostering synergy in line with the mandate of Operation UDOKA and the directives of the Force Commander/General Officer Commanding, as well as the vision of the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu.
“Sustained mutual support among formations is critical to enhancing operational effectiveness at all times. We must continue to work closely to achieve our collective mandate,” Brigadier General Dikko added.
In his response, Brigadier General G.A. Suru welcomed the 14 Brigade Commander and congratulated him on his appointment, expressing confidence in his leadership.
“I have no doubt in your capacity to provide purposeful leadership and effectively steer the affairs of 14 Brigade in the discharge of its operational responsibilities,” Suru said, while assuring him of continued cooperation.
Similarly, Brigadier General Dikko visited the Commander, 34 Artillery Brigade, Brigadier General A. Ahmed, who also congratulated him on his appointment and pledged sustained collaboration between both formations.
“We will continue to maintain strong synergy and support one another in the interest of operational success,” Brigadier General Ahmed assured.
