Hon. Alfred John Attajiri has congratulated the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on her recognition as ‘Person of the Year 2025’ at the LEADERSHIP Annual Conference and Awards.

In a congratulatory message made available to journalists, Attajiri described the award as well-deserved and a reflection of the First Lady’s commitment to service, accountability and national development.
“This prestigious honour is a fitting acknowledgement of a life and leadership defined by faith, purpose, accountability and compassionate service,” he said.
According to him, the First Lady embodies “a rare blend of conviction and empathy,” adding that her leadership style is both people-centred and impact-driven.
“Her calm strength, moral clarity and unwavering commitment to national development continue to inspire Nigerians across all divides,” Attajiri stated.

He further commended the First Lady’s Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI), noting that it has repositioned the Office of the First Lady as a structured and effective platform for sustainable social intervention.
“Through the Renewed Hope Initiative, Her Excellency has redefined the role of the Office of the First Lady. Her programmes have touched widows, students, the elderly, persons with disabilities and other vulnerable groups, restoring dignity, creating opportunities and strengthening social cohesion across the nation,” he said.
Attajiri prayed for continued wisdom and strength for the First Lady as she sustains her service to the country.
“I join millions of Nigerians in celebrating this remarkable achievement and pray that God grants Her Excellency continued wisdom, strength and grace. May her example continue to inspire hope, unity and meaningful progress for Nigeria,” he added.
