The Taraba State Government has vowed to sack members of Operation Keep Taraba Clean (street sweepers) who fail to register in the ongoing APC e-registration exercise.
The Chairman of the State Environmental and Sanitation Agency, Hon. Illiya Kefa, disclosed this development to journalists in Jalingo.
Hon. Illiya said no member of the agency would be spared if he or she fails to register for the ongoing APC e-registration.
The PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports that the street sweepers had earlier accused the state government of compelling them to register for the APC or face sanctions.
However, when contacted for confirmation, Hon. Kefa said, “Yes.”
“Yes, anyone who refuses to do the APC registration will not only face payment sanctions but will be sacked. I will sack anyone without an APC membership card,” Hon. Kefa insisted.
