The Taraba State chapter of the All Progressives Congress has declared that it is poised to win all elective positions in the 2027 general elections.
The state APC Chairman, Barr. Tukur El-Sudi, disclosed this on Saturday following the conduct of the party’s ward and local government congresses across the state.
According to El-Sudi, the rancour-free and successful affirmation of consensus candidates during the exercise was a clear indication of unity within the party, geared towards electoral victory in 2027.
He explained that the development was achieved through what he described as quality leadership and coordination by Governor Agbu Kefas, which ensured that the APC in Taraba emerged as a united family focused on progress and success.
“The rancour-free consensus in this exercise is a clear indication that the APC is set for victory in Taraba come 2027.
“We now have a leader whose target is to ensure the success of the APC. The affirmation of consensus candidates is due to genuine understanding among party leaders and members, coordinated by Governor Kefas.
“Governor Kefas is truly a leader. He has united all party members and we are set for victory in 2027,” El-Sudi stated.
In his response, the Chairman of the APC Congresses Committee, Mr. Pam Gyang Moses, expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the exercise.
Gyang said the congresses demonstrated that the APC was ready to win all elections in Taraba in 2027.
The local government congresses were monitored by Mr. Pam Gyang Moses as Chairman, Barr. Kanmi Adetunji as Chairman of the Screening Committee, and Mr. Sunday Buga as Chairman of the Congress Appeal Committee.
